On 7 September 2023 Ambassador Dr. Emília Fábián had the honour to present her Letter of Credence to H.E. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. During their discussion Ambassador expressed to President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa the importance of our bilateral relations, particulary that we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the reestablishment of the diplomatic relations between Hungary and Portugal. The President and Ambassador also discussed other topics of shared interest, such as economic cooperation, higher education, culture, tourism and sport.
